Meet Logistics:
-
Seating: When you enter the pool area from the lower parking lot, our team area will be on the left hand side of the pool (the side with waterslides). There is also a gate on that side of the pool that opens up onto a grassy area along Sherfield Drive. You are welcome to use that grassy area as spill-over seating. Our on-deck seating area also extends back into the space around the separate "adult pool." There are some chairs already on deck, but you are encouraged to bring blankets and/or camp chairs as well, just to make sure that everyone is comfortable.
You are also free to bring tents or umbrellas if you would like. There is a pergola and a few umbrellas are scattered around the pool, but they are limited in number, and so is the shade. Tarrington has asked that we not drag around the chairs and tables, and to try to leave them in the approximate area where they are already located. - No one is permitted in the baby pool area or adult pool during swim meets.
- Only swimmers can be in the water and only during their warmups or races. This will be strictly enforced by lifeguards.
- Per Safe Sport, only athletes, officials and timers behind the blocks. No photography or videography during the starts.
- We will be doing dive-overs for our starts for our 9 and older swimmers.
Food/Concessions: They will have food trucks Timber Pizza, Bikini Panini, and Kona ICE, as well as a variety of concessions. The concessions are located at the top of the stairs at the side of the main clubhouse.
Volunteers: Please check in by 5:45 at the Hallsley table and pick up your name badge. There will be a timer meeting and strokes and turns meeting occurring around 5:40 PM, so please listen for the meeting announcement over the PA system. The switch from 1st to 2nd half will happen after event 33. Thank you in advance for your help!
Heat Sheets: We do not print or sell heat sheets at meets, but we will email it out before the meet. Changes may be made to the final seeding of the meet, and swimmers should follow all instructions given at the Clerk of Course. To assist the timers and Clerk of Course to make sure they have the correct swimmers, please make sure 8 and under swimmers have their first initial and last name on their shoulder for ID purposes.
