Hello High Tides!

The weather is making for quite a bumpy start to the season! As you can see, it is sometimes necessary to cancel or change practice and it often happens at the last minute. We always update social media and send an email but we know that it’s not always easy for everyone to check their accounts as they are trying to get everyone home from work and school, fed, and off to practice.

If you want to be notified immediately of practice changes, download the Swimtopia Mobile app. It is available for Apple and Android operating systems. Once you have downloaded it, enable notifications. (See this help page for details.) This way, when we send out an alert about a practice change, it will pop up on your phone immediately.

The app is also useful throughout the season to keep track of your swimmers’ events and times. There is a calendar that lists all of the meets and you can view any volunteer jobs that you have signed up for.

If you sign up for the subscription version ($5.99 per month or $14.99 per year) you can access heat sheets and sign up for volunteer jobs through the app. During the meets, the app will alert you when your swimmer’s event is coming up, provide live event results, and keep you informed of the team score.
